Car and Motorcycle Modification Contest

PT Hyundai Indonesia Motor will release it’s new citycar named Hyundai i10. Although it have not been decided the exact day, many local newspaper and magazines have announced that it will be released in a couple of days towards. This new car is imported completely from India. The problem is, the price of the car will increase significantly which caused by the import fee. Further more, there have many other city car which have been exist on the market such as Kia Picanto. This car will replace the Atoz which have been sold on Indonesian market for several years.

Hyundai i10 featured with 1,1 liters engine and will available on automatic and manual transmission.  Here the technical specifications of Hyundai i10 (taken from Kompas Otomotif):

The cheapest car in the world, Tata Nano, will be available next February. Tata motor corp plan to produced 80.000 units during 2009-2010. 70 thousands unit will be finished on March, while the next 80 thousands unit will be done in the next year. Hope this car will also available for Indonesian market, just like other auto corps like Bajaj which has succeed bring Pulsar, and TVS Motor which has bring Apache RTR160. Just wait …  (Ref. Kompas)

I still remember when one year ago, my friend from Padang tell me that In Padang almost all “angkot” are decorated very pretty. And now, I accidentally fortune to find this pics. “Angkot” is kind of public transport service in Indonesia. They are from minibus type car with 7 passengers average. Padang is a beautiful city in Sumatera, it’s  the capital of West Sumatera. Here are some beautiful pics of Padang’s Angkot which I take from other site,..  thanks for this great works.

Toyota Motor and it’s Co-Corporation, Daithatsu Motor, just release new 7 passengers MPV models to Japanese market. It named with Toyota Passo Sette and Daihatsu Boon Luminas. These cars powered by 3SZ-VE 1500 cc four srtoke enginewhich are controlled electronically. The price for Toyota Passo Sette is 1,49 million Yen (equal to 180 million rupiahs) and 1,53 Million Yen (equal to 189 Million rupiahs) for Daihatsu Boon Luminas.

I want to say thanks for some one (I don’t know who) who has collected this VW beetle customization pics. I just found this pic collection on an online discussion forum. The location of the pics are on blogger, so I guest that some one has upload the pics on his/her blogspot blog.
