Car and Motorcycle Modification Contest

Honda Thailand is releasing new bike with have the same compact transmission CV-Matic to beat the Y.C.A.T from Yamaha. It looks like a usual cub bike, but actually it is an automatic bike that shifts like scooter do. Still using the Wave 110 engine I think, but now it featured with automatic transmission. Can provide the same power and durability like the normal manual sequential transmission like Honda Wave 110? No one have analyzed it.

Honda is going to present the new scooter with latest technology called PCX. Thailand is the first country which enjoy the Honda PCX and then will be spread through the ASEAN countries including Indonesia. Thai Honda Manufacturing (THM) have announced that they have been starting to produce this automatic bike on 14 September 09.

If you think that this bike is a CBR, you are wrong! It’s a CBR look like customization which build from 2004 Honda Tiger. Completely look like a CBR 1000CC right? Here are some pics which submitted by Bayu Pratomo to otocontest.com mailbox. He just made some simple modifications with his Honda Vario, but it seems cooled and different. He only said that he use 17 TDR tyre, 250 for rear and 200 for front one. As you can see on these pics, Bayu also chrome his CVT cover and replace the fornt disc brake with larger one. Astra Honda Motor stop the production of Honda Fit X and Revo 100CC. As replacement, Honda launch Absolute Revo with 110 CC engine. This bike will be the most competitive bike on it’s class because it sold with lower price compared with it’s main competitor Yamaha Vega ZR which has already launched last December.

This bike bring “Smart Styling”, “Smart Performance”, and “Smart Convenient”concepts. It uses similiar engine which one use on Honda Blade. Compared to the former Revo, it has bigger engine capacity, but Honda claimed that it consume 5% fuel concumtion.
