I’m a Sri Lankan poor guy whose having a dream of Honda Phantom. Finally I found one for an affordable price for me. Price of the bike is USD-1,500 (Wish to obtain a loan facility of USD-1,000). But its a used one imported from another country. My seller says its 150cc & made in Japan. But one side of its tank has damaged & the left-rear signal also broken. And also I noticed that several corrosive bubbles has appeared on the handle. I watched that one week ago and don’t know whether it has already sold or not. I wish to go for a advance payment on next Tuesday and really wanted to know followings before advancing.

01) What is the fuel consumption of this type bike?
02) Will that kind of a bike worth for the cost ?
03) How about the maintenance cost ?
04) Is this type made in Japan ?
05) How long I would be able to use this (milage) ?

GIVE ME A GOOD ADVICE ON PURCHASING OF THIS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

I have recently bought a new phantom and I am pleased with the bike and the cost, so more that I am going to ship to the UK from Thailand.

Actualy for southern spare part for phantom is realy hard to get but for others like tires,mirror road,sign lamp you guys could customized with other motor cycles,I am slightly sure you will happy to own this cycles

I have had good luck with my Honda Phantom. So far it has been a great bike and has performed well for the money I spent on it. Highly recommended.

honda phantom is so great,..you will not really enjoy if you haven”t ride in to long trip…last time I’m working in surabaya east java and I live in bogor west java and one day on my holiday I ride my phantom from surabaya to bogor and it’s take 14 hours with about 800 km distance,as yudistira said,we do have a comunity called PCS phantom comunity surabaya…So…u guy’s better try long trip and you can fell it that phantom is so great to ride….

To chris ive read youre story somewere else to..late respons.

I find it lack of braincells what you write down here.

Was OUT OF WARRANTY…there the story you write should end allready Iff that bike run 2600km and is out of warranty then something had to be wrong to begin with. I bought the Honda Phantom Fire edition. I get 3 (!!) years guarantee on the engine. This includes offcourse iff the tensioner fails on me. Afterall fucks up the engine..guarantee states 3 years on the engine.

So i dont know were you bought yours, certainly not FROM a certified dealer !! Then at the end of youre story after it obvious you bought a monday morning bike ( shit happens)

You paid $3000 ? for a bike that that was new ? no…because its out of warranty. So secondhand i presume, ahum i paid for mine *NEW* in store..and newer model even then yours for sure. This is including the guarantee of 3 years (NO XTRA COSTS FOR THAT!)

$2712 its safe to say that youre fucked till the bone my friend!!

I need a handbook in English for Phantom fire edition, incidentally just completed 3,500 km around N Thailand, good fun nice bike for its size, don’t think 155 kmph is achievable though. Help appreciated.

i think phantom is a harley-davidson on honda production. phantom is bike so comfortable. in indonesia - surabaya, i have club motorcyle and the name is phantom community surabaya and this club only phantom motorcycle. and phantom is so easy to customizing, for example phantom can custom to chopper, rap-hanger…
